AMDS places students based on skill level rather than age alone. Dancers transitioning from another studio may be evaluated to ensure proper placement that aligns with their current abilities and goals. We recognize there will be some shifting of classes in the fall once we see how students are progressing.
AMDS offers classes for dancers as young as 2 years old through pre-professional training. Specific styles have age-appropriate entry points to ensure safety and progression. We also offer non-competitive adult options in ballet, tap and jazz.

We have designated observation days where families can watch their dancers' progress. This helps minimize distractions during regular training sessions. *Note this is only at our Aston location, as our Wilmington location has limited parking. *
Tuition varies based on class length. We combine all family members classes for the greatest discount. Families receive high-quality training with professional instructors, performance opportunities, and access to additional workshops.
Competition dancers have additional costs, including competition entry fees, costumes, and travel expenses. AMDS provides families with a breakdown of costs before the season starts.
Families must provide notice before withdrawing from a class prior to the start of a new month to allow for proper adjustments. Details are outlined in our studio policies.
